Job Title: D2C Growth Manager

About Pankajakasthuri: Pankajakasthuri is a 36 years old Ayurveda brand committed to delivering authentic and effective Ayurvedic products to enhance health and wellness. Pankajakasthuri has a strong offline retail presence across India, now seeking to expand the footprint in digital space.

Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and strategic D2C Growth Manager to drive our direct-to-consumer (D2C) initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of e-commerce, digital marketing, and growth strategies. They will be responsible for increasing online sales, enhancing customer engagement, and building a robust digital presence for Pankajakasthuri. This position is based in Bangalore and requires working from our office.

We are a lean team and this role requires a quick execution, experimentation mentality fit for a startup. We expect the person to deliver results as listed in key responsibilities from Day 1.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning:

    • Develop and execute D2C growth strategies to achieve revenue and customer acquisition goals.
    • Identify new opportunities for growth and market expansion.
    • Liaison with external agencies for planning and execution.
  2. E-commerce Management:

    • Oversee the Pankajakasthuri online store, ensuring a seamless user experience.
    • Manage product listings, pricing strategies, and inventory.
    • Optimize the website for conversion rate and user experience improvements.
  3. Digital Marketing:

    • Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, SEO, SEM, and affiliate marketing.
    • Work closely with digital marketing agencies to drive execution.
    • Analyze and report on campaign performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize ROI.
    • Collaborate with the content team to create engaging and relevant content for online platforms.
    • Plan and execute CRM initiatives
  4. Customer Acquisition & Retention:

    • Develop and implement customer acquisition strategies to drive traffic and sales.
    • Create and manage loyalty programs, referral programs, and other retention strategies.
    • Conduct customer research and analyze behavior to improve the customer journey and increase retention.
  5. Analytics & Reporting:

    • Utilize analytics tools to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and derive actionable insights.
    • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, customer insights, and campaign effectiveness.
    • Use data to forecast trends and inform strategic decisions.
  6. Partnerships:

    • Identify latest trends and new channels and tie-ups to improve performance of D2C website.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's (preferably BE) or a Master’s degree (preferable MBA)
  • Proven experience of at least 3 to 4 years in a D2C growth role, preferably within the health and wellness, Ayurveda or FMCG sectors.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing, and growth hacking techniques.
  • Proficient in using analytics tools (Google Analytics, Shopify, etc.) and reporting tools like Excel.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Passion for Ayurveda and holistic wellness is a plus.
